Wondering what to do this summer?
I don’t usually post news about internships on my blog, but this exciting news just arrived in my email, specifically for high school juniors and seniors.
You can apply now for a special week working at the ACLU Summer Institute in Washington D.C. by clicking here.
From the website:
“Through an intensive 8-day program (July 18-25, 2018) in Washington D.C., students will learn directly from lawyers, lobbyists, community activists, and other experts working to defend the civil rights and liberties critical to a free and open society. The Close Up Foundation — a DC-based civic-education nonprofit — will serve as a partner with the ACLU to provide substantive experiential learning opportunities that help students hone their skills as issue-focused campaigners.”
